1. What these terms cover
These terms apply to anyone who submits a business to, or uses, the San Diego Business Directory at movesandiego.org ("the directory", "we", "us"). By submitting a listing you agree to them.
2. Who may submit
You may submit a business only if you own it or are authorized to act for it. You confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that the website you list is one you control.
3. Listings and review
Every submission is reviewed manually. We may approve, reject, edit for length or clarity, or later remove any listing at our discretion. Acceptance of payment does not guarantee approval. Inclusion in the directory is not an endorsement.
4. Free listings and the reciprocal link
A free listing requires a live, publicly visible link to movesandiego.org from the website you list. We verify this link once at submission. If the link is removed afterwards we may unpublish the listing without notice.
5. Featured listings, billing and cancellation
A featured listing costs $10 per month, billed through Stripe, and recurs monthly until cancelled. There is no minimum term. To cancel, email hello@movesandiego.org; cancellation stops future charges and takes effect at the end of the paid period. If we reject or remove a paid listing for reasons other than your breach of these terms, we cancel the subscription and refund the most recent charge. We do not otherwise offer refunds for partial months.
6. Prohibited content
Do not submit businesses engaged in illegal activity, adult services, multi-level marketing, payday lending, or any trade requiring a licence the business does not hold. Do not submit malware, deceptive redirects, or content that infringes someone else's rights.
7. Your content
You keep ownership of the business name, description and other details you submit, and you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to display them in the directory and in promotional material for the directory. You are responsible for their accuracy.
8. Availability and liability
The directory is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, specific traffic, search rankings, or business results. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the directory is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
9. Third-party businesses
Listed businesses are independent third parties. We are not party to any transaction between you and a listed business and are not responsible for their goods, services or conduct.
10. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above. Continued use of the directory after a change means you accept the revised terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and the courts of San Diego County have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
